Kate Stack

Biography

Kate completed her bachelor’s degree in Genetics and Genomics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is currently a PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Pathology (CMP) Program. Her prior research experience spans both basic and clinical sciences, with a focus on human health and disease. In the lab, she is excited to study the interactions between diet and the gut microbiota and how they influence autoimmune and neuroimmune disorders. In her free time, she enjoys reading and crafting handmade embroidery and cross-stitch projects!
